Can't update database user permissions

I’m trying to rename a Wordpress database automatically created by the Web Apps feature (since that isn’t an option on the install screen), but the generated user doesn’t have permission to do so. As such, I tried to increase the permissions by going to…

Databases →
MySQL Manager →
Change Mode: List Users and Databases →
Edit Databases →
Privilege Mode →
Advanced →
Show Privileges

but there is no button to save, and if I make changes, the permission changes don’t save automatically. When I reload this section everything has reverted back.

Is this some sort of bug or am I missing the obvious?

Save is a few miles left of the permission matrix.

Note: renaming a database requires global permissions, which aren’t available to account users as this would allow any user the authority to rename any database elsewhere to their choosing. To rename the database, select Export from the advanced dropdown. Create a new database. Under advanced, upload the dump in Use SQL Export.
