Getting this error on a fresh install and adding a new domain using nexus.

When I visit the site thats all I get. Also tried creating a new subdomain and nothing.

apache error_log

[Wed Aug 21 05:08:21.905670 2019] [autoindex:error] [pid 105486:tid 140675750135552] [client XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:33430] AH01276: Cannot serve directory /var/www/html/: No matching DirectoryIndex (index.html,index.php,index.fcgi) found, and server-generated directory index forbidden by Options directive

  • Is this server on a NAT/private IP? Did you set proxyaddr if so?
  • Does the domain you’re accessing match, subdomain included, match what’s configured for the domain?
  • You waited 2 minutes after creating the site in Nexus, correct? There’s a 2 minute window where successive calls to restart Apache are elided into 1 call to prevent a DoS
  • Errors would be logged to /home/virtual/siteX/fst/var/log/httpd/errror_log, not /var/log/httpd/error_log. By default there’s no index.html page unless such a template is created in resources/templates/apache/var/www/html. Try creating an index.html within there or within /home/virtual/siteX/fst/<subdomain path>

-Server is behind NAT and proxyaddr was also in place with the public ip.
-Domain and subdomain match with what’s is configured
-Did not waited the 2 minutes after creating the new site with nexus.
-Path was not available.

I decided to reinstall and now the domain is now working and the permission error is gone.
