How to troubleshoot Service Unavailable (HTTP 503) for single website

A single user/website (WordPress) is returning HTTP 503 Service Unavailable:

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later.

Other users/websites are working just fine.

How do I troubleshoot this?

I’ve checked all the logs at /usr/local/apnscp/storage/logs, /var/log/httpd and /var/log/php-fpm, and also logs in the virtual account under /home/virtual/example.com/var/logs and they show nothing. They don’t report any fatal errors or anything revant to resource usage, etc.

This time, the chown ... did not fix the issue.

I found that last time I had renamed website.com/wp-content/debug.log and that it is significantly large (4G).

Once again, the same debug.log file was again 4G. Removinging the file fixed the issue.

Maybe error has to do with the debug.log being maxed out and WP being unable to write further to it.

Maximum filesize is 4 GB to restrict runaway logging… which is exactly what happened here. It may be overridden using the system.process-limits Scope.
